A podcast is essentially a radio show that you can get on the internet, so you can listen any time you want. You have two options: You can listen to a podcast through a website (this is called streaming). Or, you can subscribe to a podcast, which means you’re saving it on your phone, or tablet, or computer, and you can listen to it anytime, even without an internet connection.
To Stream: Go to our website, thinking.fm, and click the play button on a particular episode (all of our past shows are there).
To Subscribe and get Downloads: Get it delivered to your phone or tablet each week using an app (you can visit http://thinking.fm/subscribe/ for all the show links to subscribe).
Apps we recommend for podcast listening (all have their own unique features and costs, so figure out which is right for you):
- Apple’s Podcast App
- Overcast (Sam’s recommendation)
- PocketCasts (Sam’s other recommendation)
Desktop / Laptop
PocketCasts is wonderful because it works on a wide variety of devices and you can play on a browser on your computer (it syncs with your mobile apps). Overcast is similar if you only use Apple products.
